The beachy background of the Hotel du Cap on the French Riviera's Antibes was the ideal setting for a sea of bright sunny yellow suits, black and white color-blocked maillots (many of which were worn with coordinating top hats) and other light summer separates in classic pinstripes, all courtesy of mastermind Karl Lagerfeld.
Inspired by Rita Hayworth and Aly Khan, the married movie star and royal socialite who once frequented the halls of Hotel du Cap, Chanel Cruise 2012 looks were decked out in real diamonds and pearls and took spectators to just about every high-class jetsetter destination; from the beach to society events.

In her new video for fifth "Loud" single "Man Down", Rihanna fires off a strong message. Set against the beauty of Jamaica, the Barbados-born singer tells the story of a sexually-abused woman.
Directed by Anthony Mandler, the clip aims at discouraging violance towards women by showing that if you physically assault somebody, you won’t get away with it.
The video begins with the singer shooting a man, who is shown dead in a pool of blood, before flashing back to the previous day, where she hung out with friends, went clubbing and on the way home was accosted in a dark alley by the same guy. It is implied that he sexually assaulted her. But it’s Rihanna who gets the final say, taking matters into her own hands and putting an end to her abuser’s life.

We're crossing our fingers that Wang's waterproof offerings look something like the tomboy-cool, swim-like pieces he showed in his Spring '09 and Spring '10 collection seen below.
